Question 6 Evaluation
During the post, pre and production of our film we used many different types of technology, in order to research and eventually create our film.

For instance in the pre production of our film, we used many different methods of research into the genre of film we were creating. some of the software we used were, google to research films which are similar to ours, YouTube to receive inspiration for scenes in our films and Wikipedia for our film title 'Shadow Aspect'. also during pre production, we used Microsoft word to create a questionnaire, which we handed out to 15 paper based copies to random students within our building. these questionnaires were apart of our research into target audience and to see what they wanted and expected from our film.  For additional research, we also used the website IMDB, were we looked at other films in our chosen genre and looked for information on their narrative and characters.


During the actual production of our film, a Panasonic hard drive HC-V270 camera was used to shoot our scenes. This camera was very effective in capturing the sequences we wanted and allowed us to create the film we wanted. However the cameras did lack with pulling focus and did not succed very well in doing so, but the camera still ha svery high quality and was an appropriate device for our film. Also during the production for our film, we decided to create a logo within the software photoshop. This system allowed us to create an original and unique logo. 

To edit our film in the post production, we decided to use Adobe Premiere pro. We decided to use this software, because it has many tools that made our film better and more professional. However due to college restrictions, we could only use this software and did not have many options for editing software, but the software we used was very effective in editing our film.

In order to evaluate our film, we used blogger to upload our final film and analyse it, to see how our film met horror conventions and achieved the goal it was set out to do.

Characteristics: paranoia personality disorder and Schizophrenia.

Function in narrative: she has a mental illness and plots to murder close friends due to paranoia. She gets paranoid that her friends are talking about her behind her back and laughing at her, she begins to hear voices and convinces herself that her friends are plotting against her, she wants to attack before they get the chance to. She has pre thought out a detailed plan on the murder, she become obsessed and consumed by the idea, whilst her friends have no idea of her plan as her behaviour is practically the same, she sees Owen alone and sees her oppertunity

He is a friend of Cammy and Owen, he is on the phone to Owen when the attack occurs.

Appearance: Strawberry blonde, 5’10, blue eyes

Characteristics: Very laid back, loyal, friendly.

Function in narrative: He is a friend of Josh and Cammy, he is stood talking with Josh on the phone, when he notices Cammy looking at them from a distance and waves at her, they approach each other and it all goes wrong.
