Title: 'Shadow Aspect'

Duration: 110 minutes

Audience: 15 year olds who enjoy thrilling and intense psychological horror films.

Certificate: 15

Synopsis:  A character has a mental illness and plots to murder close friends due to paranoia. She gets paranoid that her friends are talking about her behind her back and laughing at her, she begins to hear voices and convinces herself that her friends are plotting against her, she wants to attack before they get the chance to. She has pre thought out a detailed plan on the murder, she become obsessed and consumed by the idea, whilst her friends have no idea of her plan as her behaviour is practically the same, as they have only slight suspicion. On the day she decides for her plan to take place.

To show the audience that she is insane and planning a murder, she is at her computer doing internet research, Facebook pages of her friends, close up on her hand as she scrolls using the mouse, close up on the computer screen and close up at her eyes with the computers reflection in them. (Psychotic voice over). A scene where she is watching her two friends for a distance, sees them laughing, assumes that they’re laughing at her, she has an angered look on her face until her friends notice her, she then proceeds to walk with them, acting like nothing happened, she then suggests they go to a party that evening, before going to party, she packs her bag, packing a knife, (shot of placing knife in bag), she meets her friends and walks them through forest as she claims it to be a short cut, a clip of the dark forest and screams ( does not show murder, to make the audience want to watch the film to see if it happens or not.

Suggested Elements: The Shining- Charcter sleeps too little, and is irritable. the charcater also suffers from parnioa and attempts to harm the people closest to him.anothe film that inspired us when creating our film was,
